Led by coaches Michael Baccarini & Jonathan Monforti, Atlanta’s U-19 Open team (ATLiens) enters as a 10 seed in a field of 19.
Following two tryout sessions this spring, the ATLiens roster took form. The squad has representatives from eight different high schools. A quarterfinal finish in June’s Atlanta Classic, after just two practices, provided a solid early start to the group’s work together over the sweltering summer weeks.
The U-16 team (ATLarge) coaches Jennifer Waldrup, Andrew Jones, and Paddi White lead Atlanta against eight other squads.
Atlanta is proud to be bringing a U-16 team to this year’s YCC for the first time! ATLarge represents the best of our area’s under 16 year old talent, with players hailing from some of the strongest middle and high school youth ultimate programs in Atlanta: Paideia, Grady, Galloway, and Inman.

Good luck to these two teams, and a huge thanks goes to the team organizers, the AFDC, and all of the supportive parents who made these teams possible.
