Parents, we can’t make this league happen without volunteers. We can use your help in a big way or a small one, depending on how you want to help. We need people to check the fields for rain, help register and chaperone players, and bring first aid and water. If you are a player as well, we also always can use more volunteers to Lead Coach, Co-Coach and Support Coach. Please contact Rachel Scales at email@example.com.
Who will be leading the teams? We have recruited volunteer coaches from all around the Atlanta ultimate community. Coaches come from a variety of different backgrounds involving ultimate but all are ready and enthusiastic to be leading teams this upcoming league. We seek to keep the same coaches with the same teams for the length of the league.
I already play soccer/water-polo/volleyball & can’t make most days; can I still sign up? Yes! You do NOT have to make every single day, but you will be assigned to one team for the entire season.
What are the skill levels of the players? We have players who have never played before, and we have players who have played on school teams and attended multiple camps. All are welcome.
How do I know if I should sign up for the Advanced Division? If you played on the “A” team for your school last fall or were one of the lead players for a school with only one team, you should sign up for the Advanced Division. Otherwise, the Developmental Division is the right one for you.
Can I sign up with a friend? Absolutely! We can’t promise you’ll be on the same team, but as long as both players name each other, we do our best to keep you together.
Are games rescheduled if it rains? We use City of Atlanta fields, and wet fields are frequent in February and March. We have 2 Sunday rain dates scheduled; that’s what we can offer in terms of rescheduling. No refunds once the league has begun, so please consider carefully.
