Spring League 2002 is Coming Registration is mid-Feb and play is March-May by Romey Connell It’s time to get back into shape and start thinking about Spring League.  Spring registration will be from February 15 through March 1, so check www.afdc.com mid-Feb and sign up.  Ultimate League Ultimate play will take place every Saturday (skipping March 23 for Terminus), beginning on March 9 and ending with a final tourney on May 4.  Spring ’02 will be a core-submission with a draft to follow on March 4.  One of our most important needs is having enough captains, so that teams are of a manageable size.  Fewer captains means larger and more unwieldy rosters, and less playing time for everyone involved.  So, PLEASE step up and be a Spring League captain if you can.  If interested, contact Commissioner Randall Anderson or view the Spring League summary. Goaltimate League Goaltimate play is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, beginning March 12, and ending with the EOS Tourney June 1-2.  With 113 folks having signed up for Winter League 2002, it's anticipated that Spring League will be the AFDC's largest league yet - Evil is experimenting with a structure that meets our desire for parity across the anticipated 12 -14 teams.
