12 Days of Christmas Hat Tournament

Update: This year’s 12 Days has been cancelled due to the incoming weather.

Instead, we’re going to be hanging out at Monday Night Brewing‘s West Midtown location at 670 Trabert Ave NW, 30318, from 12pm until 4pm. Come grab a couple of beers on us and pick up your disc and jersey!

The holidays are fast approaching and that means it’s almost time for the AFDC’s 12 Days of Christmas hat tournament!

Registration begins Tuesday, November 13th (12pm ET) at http://leagues.afdc.com/.

Unique to this year, all participants will receive a Spin jersey and a disc!

When: Dec 8th and 9th.

Where: Georgia Soccer Park. Parking is $1.

Time: Saturday 9am – 4:45pm. Sunday 10am – 3pm.

Cost: $35

Registration: No pairs. Name and rank are needed for registration. Spots are not guaranteed until payment is received. Refunds are not available. Registration closes on Saturday, December 1st.

Bring: Players must wear a hat while playing. Please note: A VISOR IS NOT A HAT. Hats cover your head, visors do not. No chin straps.

Jerseys: Sizes are first-come, first-served (due to lead times on printing). Try to get there early if you need a particular size. (We’re working on an early jersey pickup/hangout opportunity on Friday night.)

Extras: We’ll have tasty beverages for you at the field. Be sure to bring your own food for the day.

Party: Your tournament registration gets you free admission into the AFDC Fancy Pants Party, which takes place the weekend prior to the tournament (December 1st) at Vinyl. More details to come.

Check-in: Check-in starts at 8:30am on Saturday morning at the fields. The schedule will be sent out on Friday evening, as will an email to the players with first-round byes.

Dogs: Gentle reminder that dogs are currently not permitted at Georgia Soccer Park, per park rules. Anyone bringing a dog will be asked to immediately take them home.

Questions, jokes, stories, or riddles can be sent to Paige Payne or posed on the forums.
