We created a Juniors Committee in August 2025. The following people are currently on the Juniors Committee.
Gerleen Davidson, Committee Member, Finances Lead. Current Decatur High School Open Coach (JV & Varsity) and Program Director. YCC Open Coach (U17 ATLas 2022-2024, U20 ATLiens 2025-current). Thrives on athletic competition (Crossfit, soccer, ultimate frisbee) and community. When not coaching, enjoys hanging out with her two dogs and husband, trying a new recipe, or playing storyline-driven video games. Competent but not confident in first person shooter games.
Hayley Cotton, Committee Member, Youth Director. Current Coach of Midtown HS Varsity Girls, Howard MS girls, and YCC U-17 Girls rATLers (including our 2023 national championship winning squad!!). Former Florida State Women’s Ultimate player and current AFDC League player. Committed to the growth of girls ultimate and youth ultimate at large in Atlanta! Enjoys reading (reads a lot!) and going to Falcons games with her husband.
Kody Cotton, Committee Member, Bylaws Lead. Current Coach of Midtown Girls JV. Former coach (2017-2018) and player of DUF (Florida State Men’s Ultimate). Former President of Tallahassee Ultimate League. Enjoys helping grow the sport through administrative assistance. Works as a Director of Logistics. Enjoys disc golf, watching football, video games, anime, and spending time with his dogs (Cheeto & Tyson) and cat (Honey).
Miranda Roth Knowles, Committee Member. Current Coach of Paideia High School Girls’ Team, Atlanta Chain Lightning, Team USA World Games. Former Coach of Team USA Women (2024), Team USA Men (2020-21), Paideia Junior High Team (2013-19), Atlanta Outbreak (2014-17), Shanghai HuWa (2011-13), YK Pao School (2011-13), Team Israel U20 Girls (2012-14), University of Washington Women (2006-10), Seattle Small Fryz (2005-2011), Team USA U20 Girls (2006-2010), Seattle Academy of Arts & Science Junior High & Girls Teams (2008-2011), Lakeside High School (Seattle, 2008). Founder and Coach at Ultimate Peace. Paideia High School Neuropsychology Teacher and Assistant Principal. From 1998-2018 was a Hall of Fame ultimate player for Atlanta Ozone, Carleton College, University of Washington, Seattle Riot, Team USA (U20, World Games, Masters) and iRot. Rocco Stembel, Committee Member, Treasurer. Current Coach of Henderson Middle School (2010-Present). Current AFDC Jrs. Treasurer (2017-present). Longtime Juniors Terminus Tournament Director (2018-Present). Started playing ultimate in 1974(!!). When not around the disc, he spends time with his wife as avid hikes, cavers, and canoeists. Has two active dogs that keep him on his toes.
Zach Hollis, Committee Member. Current Coach of YCC U-20 Boys ATLiens. Former Coach of U-17 Boys ATLas, Midtown Varsity, and Midtown JV. Former player of several now-defunct club teams from Florida and Georgia. Main interest is establishing ultimate-specific skill development and strength and conditioning. A physical therapist by trade, when not doing ultimate enjoys snowboarding, DIY home projects, and rooting for the Orlando Magic, Orlando City SC, and Jacksonville Jaguars.
Zaki Durry, Committee Member. Current Coach of Druid Hills High School Ultimate. Former Coach of Georgia Southern Ultimate, Hustle Futures Summer Camps, and various other Atlanta based youth ultimate camps. Played AFDC League for 18 years and at the club level in the southeast for 10 of those years. Enjoys board games, video games, and card games. Also loves to swim when it’s hot and stay inside when it is cold.
