Elections:
Our annual elections have completed and we have some newly elected board members:
- President: Stephen Jira
- Webmaster: Pete Holiday
As our annual elections left some open positions, we had volunteers for changing roles. The board proposes the following slate of candidates to take office on November 6 to close open slots. Below is the slate of candidates proposed to serve on the 2026 board:
- Social Director: Georgie Panga
- Atlanta Women’s Ultimate Director: Amy Smith
Any member of the corporation (as defined as someone who has played in a regular AFDC league in the 2025 or 2026 calendar year) who wishes to oppose anyone on this slate must do so in writing to elections@afdc.com prior to November 6, 2026. In accordance with the provisions of Article IV, Section 4 of the AFDC Bylaws, any member does not submit their vote in writing shall be deemed a vote in support of the candidate. Opposition by more than 10% of the Members of the Corporation shall constitute a rejection of the candidate.
