Terminus The Atlanta Flying Disc Club is proud to host Terminus 2009. This website should serve as your source of information about the event. College Terminus will be March 14-15 in Atlanta. 26 College Open Teams 16 College Women's Teams $300 Polo Fields in Cumming GA. Bid deadline will be January 15, 2009. A bid consists of: an email to me (Teddy) at TerminusTD at gmail. Include in the email: -School and Team Name -Contact person; email and phone -Relevant tournament results (Spring 08 through most recent) -Outlook for the Spring 2009 season. -Any subjective info you think will make me want to let you in. -Payment NOT required until teams are accepted, then there will be a payment deadline or you lose your spot. We will be having the College Terminus Play-In again this year during Club Terminus (March 7-8). This will be for 8 teams who don't make it into College Terminus, playing for 2 spots in College Terminus. Teams playing in the play-in will obviously have to be available the second weekend also, in case they earn a spot. Bids to the play-in are the same as regular. If you would be interested in playing in the play-in, indicate that in the bid (you can apply for both). College Party Same party as Club! We did Whirley Ball last year and eveyone loved it so this year we will be extending the fun to the Club weekend as well. We have 2 courts reserved starting at 9:30 but you are welcome to get there earlier. Check out the website for info if you do not know what WB is: http://www.whirlyballatlanta.com/ Again, plenty of free beer at the party and they also have a full bar for you to purchase anything else you may want (yes, this is the same text as the club party. Sue me, it's 7am. If you want to read something well-written go here). Club Party The party will start as soon as the playing stops... well actually well before as we will be tapping the kegs around 1pm or so... Smile After the final round on Saturday we will be having an All-Star game where one team elected representative from each team will get to show off their thumbers and other "great" throws while everyone else drunkenly heckles them into submission. Half time of the All-Star game is when the real spectacle begins. The PBR mile... Again one players from each team will be needed to compete in the greatest show known to man. 1 contestant, 4 x PRB cans, 4 x quarter miles... You do the math. A womens and mens winner will be crowned and showered with prizes. Start training now. After the All-Star game go eat/ shower and get ready for party #2.
