The rumors are true! 12 Days is making its triumphant return! We are stoked to be bringing back Atlanta’s favorite hat tournament. Hat tournaments are great ways to play with folks you wouldn’t normally have the chance to in standard league play.
We hope you’ll join us in December for a great weekend of frisbee and fun!
Here’s all the important information you’ll need:
- Registration is now OPEN and will close on December 9th!
- When: Dec 17th – 18th
- Where: Atlanta Polo Fields, 4563 Polo Lane Atlanta, GA
- Time: Saturday 9-5, Sunday 10-3
- Cost: $45 (includes a jersey)
- Pet policy not confirmed yet – will update!
Registration details: As with all AFDC ultimate/goaltimate events you will register through the leagues page. There will be limited spots. We will have 15 players per team with 12 teams total. This will be a fully mixed tournament so a 4/3 ratio will be the default.
Check-in: Starts at 8:30am Saturday at the fields. The schedule will be sent to players Friday night. You’ll receive a Spin jersey for your assigned team color, but jersey sizes will be handed out first come first serve, so arrive early if you need a specific size.
Hat rules: All players must wear a hat at all times while playing. Santa hats, chicken hats, cat in the hats welcome! There will be a prize for the best hat! If your hat falls off while you have the disc, it’s a turn!
Youth Donation Drive: We will have a donation box near the registration tent, so please bring with you any old jerseys, cleats, cones, frisbees, pinnies/reversibles, etc. to donate to Atlanta youth players. We will also accept regular clothes and items to donate to a local organization. This is not required but does help those that need it!
In addition to the 12 Days Hat Tournament… We’re excited to bring back the fanciest pantsiest party for ultimate players in Atlanta. That’s right – Fancy Pants will be happening as well! Participants in 12 Days will get a discount on their Fancy-Pants ticket!
