Our goal is to grow the number of Women Matching Players (WMP) playing disc in Atlanta. With success, we can bring back Women’s leagues as well as grow our coed leagues. On February 15 and March 1 we are holding Learn To Play – Women’s Pickup Ultimate at the 4th Ward Skateboard Park field on the beltline from 2pm – 4pm. We held our first session on February 8 and recruited more potential players off the beltline than we had playing pickup!
You can help in 3 easy ways.
- If you’re a WMP, come play pickup and throw the disc with other interested players.
- Send a friend or 3 to play pickup. It’s great for those that are curious and perhaps not ready to commit.
- Show up and help meet and greet potential players. It’s as easy as saying “hello”.
