The holidays are approaching and that means so is the AFDC’s 12 Days of Christmas hat tournament. This year’s theme is 12 Drummers Drumming.
Registration begins Tuesday, November 15th at www.afdc.com. The first 96 men and 48 women get in. Name, rank and shirt size will be needed for registration. You are not guaranteed a spot until you pay. No refunds. No pairs.
When: Dec 10th and Dec 11th
Where: Georgia Soccer Park
Time: 9 AM Saturday. Sunday 10am.
Cost: $30 – Paypal only.
Bring: Must wear a hat.
What? Parking is going to be $1 similar to other AFDC events at GSP. Carpool!
Shirts: This year we will be giving out Spin Triumph short sleeve jerseys designed by Leedle. We can not guarantee you get the shirt size you asked for this year due to lead times. We will be ordering the same variety of shirt sizes in each color. Get to the fields early to get dibs.
Party and Check-in: Come to Manuel’s Tavern Friday Dec 9th at 8pm (same night as the Stache Bash). You can get your shirt, see your team and all the others, donate to the can drive, have a few beverages on the AFDC and support the sick kids. You may also pick up your shirt Saturday morning at the fields. The box of shirts will be with your team.
Canned Good Drive: If you bring 5 canned goods for the canned food drive you will get a free AFDC disc. You will not be getting a disc with your entry fee.
**Wildcard: New this year (thank McCargo and Church), The team that donates the most cans to the can drive will get an added bonus. The bonus will be switching a player from your team with a player on the team that donated the least number of cans. There will be restricted players on each roster that can not be traded. All trades are subject to my approval to ensure things don’t get unfair.
Blind Bet: Chris Church/Jenny Lee will be accepting yours at the door. Bet on your team and if your team wins you get to split the pot.
