2013 Fall Ultimate

Fall Ultimate is right around the corner.  Get out and play in the mornings to burn off the beer and wings you will be munching on while watching football in the afternoon. We will be playing Saturday mornings from 10:00 am  to 1:00 pm at Boulevard Crossing during the regular season.  We will be using GSP for EOST on November 9th.

2013 Fall Goalty

Fall Goalty is BACK…freakout!  If you’ve never tried out this awesome disc sport, now is the time to try!

We will be playing Wednesday evenings at Central Park (8:30pm) and Coan Rec (8:00pm) starting September 11th through November 6th.  EOS will be played at Walker Park on November 10th.

AFDC Member Location Survey

When the AFDC looks at the fields we will play on in the coming years, the time it takes to get to those fields remains one of our most pressing concerns. To that end, we’d like to know more about where our members are coming from.  We think this will help us make the best decisions about our future use of Georgia Sports Park, City of Atlanta Fields, and other locations.

2013 Youth Club Championship Wrap Up

The AFDC sent teams in two divisions to the ninth annual USA Ultimate Youth Club Championships (YCC) in Blaine, MN (Aug 10-11). The YCC tournament serves as the National championship tournament among the country’s best youth leagues. This year, the Twin Cities Ultimate community hosted 40 teams in U-16 (under 16 years old) open, U-19 open, mixed, and girls. And one of the Atlanta teams brought home a Championship trophy!
