YCC Coach Applications – NOW OPEN!
Atlanta Flying Disc Club is looking for coaches for our 2024 Youth Club Championship Teams (YCCs)! Following a successful Summer 2023 season, we will continue to develop youth Ultimate in the Atlanta area.
YCC 2023 results:
- ATLas U-17 Boys: 6th place
- rATLers U-17 Girls: 1st place!!
- cATLanta U-20 Girls: 10th place
- ATLiens U-20 Boys: 15th place
For 2024, AFDC is sending at least 4 teams to the USA Ultimate Youth Club Championships in Colorado:
- 1 U-20 Boys Team
- 1 U-20 Girls Team
- 1 U-17 Boys Team
- 1 U-17 Girls Team
In addition to these 4 teams, we will be working to create 2nd team opportunities in each division (or mixed) that will likely culminate their season locally at an end of season tournament (similar to 2022 Southeast Showdown). These 2nd teams are developmental.
**All teams dependent on USA Ultimate bidding process.**
We are seeking head coaches, assistant coaches and local coaches for all of these teams. Please fill out this form if you are interested in either the Head, Assistant Coach or Local Coach position.
Our goal is to create a collaborative group of coaches to lead this Competitive Youth Club experience, and to build a positive community of Youth players. Coaches will have assigned teams, however, all players and coaches will meet on the same schedule and at the same location during the summer, so collaboration between coaches will be a priority.

12 Days of Christmas JUNIORS Hat Tourney – Registration is LIVE!
Join us Saturday, Dec. 9th for a fun day of mini ultimate at our junior’s hat tourney! We have both girls and boys divisions for middle school and high school players. If you’ve never played mini before, no worries. Rules will be explained prior to play. Mini is 3 on 3, teams of 5 or 6, very fast-paced and lots of fun.
We are trying something new this year! Names are being pulled from a hat at random to form teams at the fields, so arrive early!
What’s required:
- wear a funky hat – it’s a hat tourney, you have to wear a hat while you play,
- bring a water bottle,
- bring a dark and white shirt, and
- donate to the food drive.
Schedule:

Middle School
- Check-in/Warm-up: 9:30 a.m.
- Games: 10:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
High School
- Check-in/Warm-up: 1:00 p.m.
- Games: 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.

LOCATION & FIELD MAP
This year, Terminus will be at Peachtree City Athletic Complex – 30 minutes from the Altanta Airport and 45 minutes South from the city of Atlanta.
A few fun facts about the area:
PTC is a golf cart city. There are 100+ miles of multi-use golf cart paths that connect you to shopping, dining, event venues, and other recreation. You can even get to the tournament location via golf cart. A local favorite is golf carting to Lake Peachtree to watch the sunset.
If you are a Walking Dead fan, 10 minutes from the fields is downtown Senoia. Senoia is where a big portion of the Walking Dead was filmed, so there is The Walking Dead museum with a tour and a restaurant owned by Norman Reedus (Daryl).
There are a lot of green spaces and nature trails, a new disc golf course, breweries, and a variety of restaurants – so many things to do when not on the field! And if you like visiting the themed Chic-fil-As, 17 minutes Northeast of PTC is the Luau location.
